Developing sustainable industrial parks – an exciting challenge for municipalities, companies and planners

The plan is to hold an information event to highlight various aspects of developing sustainable industrial parks and to initiate further networking. At the last meeting, workshops explored the characteristics and criteria for sustainable, resource-efficient industrial parks.

Within this event, we aim to provide a forum for exchanging ideas on current developments. In addition to professional discussions, our goal is to develop a continuous, collaborative working structure and to strengthen the network between municipalities, businesses, and planners.

•  “Designing near-natural company premises” – Approach and measures to improve biodiversity – Dr. Martina Koch, Heinz Sielmann Foundation
• “Presentation of the feasibility study – Sustainable industrial park Zittau/East” – Ms. Gloria Heymann, Head of the Office for Economic Affairs, International Relations, Culture and Marketing, City of Zittau
