Löbau - Networking meeting “Hydrogen network and needs in the district of Görlitz”

Ladies and Gentlemen 

We at ENO, together with the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK), the Chamber of Skilled Crafts (HWK), and regional economic development agencies, want to support businesses in the Görlitz district in preparing for a climate-neutral future. Therefore, we are involved, among other things, as a regional multiplier for the study "Hydrogen Network Central Germany 2.0" to identify local hydrogen needs and initiate preparatory steps for developing a hydrogen economy. These steps include pipeline infrastructure as well as the construction of corresponding hydrogen _refueling stations.

To present our current activities, potential and study objectives, but also to discuss your requirements, we invite you to:

The target audience for the events includes regional companies that already have an interest in or even specific needs for hydrogen, as well as project developers, economic development agencies, chambers of commerce and other interested parties.

Background “Hydrogen Network Central Germany 2.0”

On behalf of 54 private and public sector partners, the European Metropolitan Region Central Germany, the hydrogen network HYPOS, DBI Gas- und Umwelttechnik GmbH, and INFRACON Infrastruktur Service GmbH & Co. KG have launched their joint study for a regional hydrogen distribution network in the German states of Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and Thuringia. In addition to potential route corridors and their connection to the national and European hydrogen networks, the study will also examine future demand for green hydrogen and potential production sources in the region.

Background: Hydrogen filling station

Beyond the study, ENO is conducting a regional working group on "Hydrogen Mobility." The goal is to establish a hydrogen refueling station in the Görlitz district. To this end, the Freiberg Institute GmbH is currently conducting parallel surveys of logistics companies. The next working group meeting will take place on September 25, 2023, in Görlitz. In addition to potential business models and an exchange of experiences, test vehicles will also be available on site. Further information can be found here:
