Lausitz Café

The Lausitz Café is an entertaining event series that takes place every two months, in which we would like to discuss selected key topics of structural change with you; that is, each of the six Lausitz Cafés has a different topic.

This offer is open to all residents of the Görlitz district and is free of charge. Food and drinks will also be provided, so no one has to discuss the event on an empty stomach.

The theme of the first Lausitz Café on January 31, 2023, is "Changing Perspectives: Society - What Does YOUR Structural Change Look Like?" . Last year, we were able to organize and attend many events where experts were primarily consulted on specific topics, but rarely the public—that is, you! We want to change that. The Lausitz Café will kick things off with an evening addressing several topics, which will then be explored in greater depth at subsequent events. These topics include mobility, energy, and also issues surrounding the factors of living environment and tourism.

This first Lausitz Café will be covered by the media, and the footage will subsequently be available for public use. So dress up or make a statement in your comfy clothes. :D
