Hiking day with history

Together we want to hike from Königshain to Herrnhut – a distance of about 30 km .

Pastor Christian Samuel Schmidt reports that almost 100 farmers from Königshain ran to Herrnhut for Schachmann's funeral and scooped out his rain-filled grave with their hats.

This leads to the question: Can we still complete the journey today? Of course we want to, and we hope there are fellow hikers to join us.

It is also possible parts of the route (to Sohland, from Sohland).

A lunch break planned at Sohlandlebt!

Upon arrival in Herrnhut, we look forward to a coffee break at the Komensky day house.

 

We look forward to welcoming many fellow hikers and embarking on a shared adventure!

Participation is free. Food and drinks are at your own expense. Registration is requested!

Return transport should be arranged independently. If you require assistance in finding carpools, please indicate this when registering ( in the comments field ).
