Lausitz Cluster Mobility – mobiLH (mobile Lausitz stop)

How can we accelerate the implementation of mobility solutions in rural areas – without immediately triggering large investments? That's precisely what mobiLH : a mobile mobility hub that allows municipalities to test locations and modules in a practical setting. We would like to introduce you to the concept and discuss with you whether and how you can participate – as a municipality, research institution, or multiplier (e.g., in modules, operation, testing, evaluation, and partner acquisition).

What's it all about?
How can we accelerate the implementation of mobility solutions in rural areas – without immediately triggering large investments? With mobiLH, we are developing a mobile mobility hub that enables municipalities to test locations and modules in practical settings – for example, at train stations in rural areas, where feeder services, secure parking, information, amenities, or complementary services are often lacking. The goal is to use these trials to create a solid foundation for permanent solutions (e.g., Lausitz train stations/mobility hubs).

Here's what you can expect:

• First-hand input: Experts from science and practice show what is already possible today.
• Workshop sessions: In three sessions, we want to further develop the concept of mobiLH together – from requirements to modules/partners to implementation and financing.
• Networking & exchange: Space for conversations, ideas and concrete next steps.

The Siemens ENERGY CoWorking Space is located on the Siemens company premises at Lutherstraße 51 in Görlitz. Please have your ID card ready for registration at the reception building on the factory grounds. You will receive your day/visitor's pass there, which you can also use as a name badge for the event. The event starts at 10:00 AM in the Obermarkt room (arrival from 9:30 AM).
