The 21st HYPOS Dialogue and the 5th Upper Lusatia Hydrogen Forum focus on decentralized energy production and supply using hydrogen. Industry and commerce face the challenge of gradually defossilizing their processes with renewable energies and hydrogen. Key sectors in the Görlitz district have little time to seize the economic opportunities arising from the energy transition and remain competitive. Agriculture can be one of the main beneficiaries in terms of land use, hydrogen production, and the utilization of biomass and waste heat.
In three steps, participants will learn how to develop project ideas with the right partners, avoid mistakes by learning from best-practice projects, and achieve rapid implementation. In three sessions, experts and experienced professionals along the value chain will provide information on the current state of technology, suitable products and services, funding opportunities, and training programs.
- Session 1: How to successfully start in your own environment with project planners/developers, funding and qualification measures
- Session 2: How can hydrogen be produced and what new business areas arise from biomass or biogenic CO2?
- Session 3: What to use hydrogen for? Applications & best practices from agriculture, H2 CHP plants and waste heat utilization
Registration is open from March 18, 2024 to April 29, 2024. Participation is free of charge. The 21st HYPOS Dialogue is being held in cooperation with the Development Corporation of Lower Silesian Upper Lusatia (Entwicklungsgesellschaft Niederschlesische Oberlausitz mbH).
