13. Lausitz Café - Mobility and Local Supply
The Lausitz Café is an entertaining and regularly recurring event series, this time being held in cooperation with the municipality of Oybin . Together, we would like to discuss specific questions with you regarding local services and mobility .
In 2025, we want to extend the event series to the entire district of Görlitz and invite you to the Haus des Gastes in Oybin (2nd floor; council chamber) on Thursday, March 6, 2025 .
Questions:
1. Future-proof mobility solutions
How can mobility in rural areas be made more attractive again and improve the quality of life for all generations? What solutions connect everyday commuters with the transport needs of local businesses?
2. Innovation Network
What structure is needed to enable citizens to actively engage in finding and implementing innovative solutions to local challenges? What new collaborations and networks can associations, businesses, and citizens establish? How can the local community rediscover its own identity and shared goals that make personal commitment worthwhile?
3. Local supply in rural regions
Now the community is once again faced with the question: How can local supply be sustainably secured without becoming a financial burden? How can citizens be motivated to actively participate in its preservation (product selection, opening hours, etc.)? How can regional producers be strengthened?
This offer is open to all residents of the Görlitz district and is free of charge. Food and drinks will also be provided, so no one has to discuss the event on an empty stomach.
Anyone who is curious and wants to know what has already been discussed in past Lausitz Cafés can get an overview on our Miroboard .
