Presentation of the PriMa+ÖV project

Especially in rural areas and during off-peak hours, not all locations can be reliably served by scheduled public transport – this restricts mobility and social participation. PriMa+ÖV therefore relies on existing local resources: taxi companies are integrated into the public transport network as public transport taxis, and private carpooling options are incorporated. 

A booking platform is the first to link scheduled public transport, public transport taxis, and ride-sharing services into seamless connections – a practical addition to public transport without the need for new, costly infrastructure. The impact on mobility participation is being scientifically monitored.
