8. Lausitz Café - South
CANCELLED!
The Lausitz Café is a lively, bimonthly event series where we discuss specific questions related to selected key topics of structural change. Each Lausitz Café will cover several topics. In 2024, we plan to expand the series to the entire Görlitz district and invite you to the Meda Cultural Center in Mittelherwigsdorf on April 9, 2024 .
The following specific questions will be discussed with the participants:
Topic 1: Digitization of the city center (Cityinitiative eV)
The county's City Initiative would like to launch a project to revitalize city centers. Part of the project will be an app that uses digitalization to contribute to the revitalization of city centers.
At the work table you will find various functional ideas that could be integrated into the app.
Please prioritize the features. Which features do you consider particularly important for revitalizing city centers, and which features are dispensable? What content should be included in your top 3 features?
Topic 2: Distributing the SPEED tutorial (Task Force Structural Change)
Project development, grant applications, citizen participation, and economic development. These topics are particularly important for municipalities, but they always involve extra effort. Often, external support is needed. To simplify these processes, we've launched a tutorial series. Unfortunately, this series isn't yet widely known.
What are some ways to disseminate the SPEED tutorials of the Task Force Structural Change more effectively?
Topic 3: Vacancy (Task Force Structural Change)
Imagine you're taking a walk and exploring your immediate surroundings. Within a radius of 0.5km to 1km around your house/apartment, you notice various buildings or shops that are empty or unused.
What kind of buildings do you see?
What thoughts do you have about each building?
What could/should happen to them in the future?
Topic 4: Prima+ÖV Mobility Project (Task Force Structural Change)
Imagine it's a typical weekday and you have an appointment in the nearest city. Your car is in the shop, and your appointment location isn't accessible by public transport. Carpooling is an option. What exactly would you need to consider this option regularly? Think about factors like carpool organization, communication platforms, safety considerations, and potential incentives for both drivers and passengers.
This offer is open to all residents of the Görlitz district and is free of charge. Food and drinks will also be provided, so no one has to discuss the event on an empty stomach.
